Orvieto is an ancient town of Umbria located on a hill surrunded by a beutiful landscape. In the city are several Etruscan remainings, and medieval churches and palaces. Orvieto's most famous monument is the 53 m. deep Well of San Patrizio, built in 16th century. Orvieto hosts several traditional festivals whose origin dates back to the Renaissance. |
