Siena welcomes visitors with its art and architecture; it has been declared World Heritage by UNESCO. Siena is located in one fo the most beautiful parts of Tuscany, surrounded by hills and pictoresque towns.
This city is well-known for both its monuments and its traditions, first of all the Palio held it the magnificent Piazza del Campo. Siena is birthplace of the painter Duccio di Buoninsegna (1255-1319) and of the poet Cecco Angiolieri (1260-1312).
